I love "Signs", not to mention Joaquin. Mikey & I were watching it one day, and when this scene came up, he ran into the kitchen, slapped an aluminum hat together, came back in, and proceeded to sit on the couch like that for the rest of the movie. Then we tried putting the hat on Rhett, but he wasn't having it.

"Signs" was filmed about 10 miles from where I grew up...
But I have seen a guy who actually did this once. Actually, his whole apartment was covered in tinfoil because of "The laser beams from Venus..."
Good movie though, could've been better.
