What are my chances that Chrysler Financial is going to send the correct paperwork to NJ MVC so that I can transfer my title?

b) 75%
c)25%

New Jersey Needs Our Help!!!

According to the NY Daily News NJ paid a consultant $260,000 to come up with a new slogan for the Garden State. The best that the consultant could come up with was "New Jersey: We'll win you over". I thought that we could come up with some suggestions of our own. Here are some of mine:

"If you can find a garden, please let us know".
"The only state where you have to make a right to go left".
"And you thought New York drivers were bad".
"The home of the Jersey wall".
"New Jersey: Where the country's nicest town and most dangerous city are down the road from each other"

Post your slogan!

I love this blog.

He Also Eats More Than They Do

PR girl #1: I love your outfit today!
PR girl #2: You know, I was walking down the street, and this homeless man in a box told me that "Purple is the color of royalty."
PR girl #1: Don't joke about that. I could be joining him, if my apartment doesn't come through.
PR girl #2: At least he lives in Manhattan.

Hallo-freaking-ween

As a kid I never went trick-or-treating. My family wouldn't allow us. We lived in a pretty bad neighborhood and had over-protective adults. We were allowed to go to our school's Halloween night festivities. My catholic school, Sts. Peter and Paul, used to be an opera house so there were lots of rooms, staircases and a cool auditorium. There were lots of places for Halloween activities. I always made my own costume. 1) We only did store-bought ones when were we little and 2) I always enjoyed putting together my own costume. (For those of you who didn't know I was a Fashion Design major in HS so I always had the fashion bug).

A few weeks ago I went with Mr. K to get a costume for little Mr. K at a local party store. The store was chaotic as all of these kids were getting their store bought super-expensive costumes. Little Mr. K wanted a costume that was sold out so we looked at other options. We wound up getting a couple of pieces there and later on Mr. K went to a dept. store and bought the rest of the costume. I thought that this was a better idea because even though we wound up spending a little more money we got some stuff that Little Mr. K can wear in the future (though at the rate that he is growing he'll grow out of it soon)! He is going to look so cute and I bet he'll be the best looking vampire in southern NJ. :)

So parents, please dont cop-out and go with the store bought costumes. Spend some time and be creative. You'll probably save some cash and have a great time with your kids.

Oh by the way, Foamy has a great rant about kids and Halloween! If you haven't heard it yet check it out!

It's Official....

I am a licensed driver in the grand State of New Joisey!

Honk Honk!

Let the finger fly!

(Middle finger that is)!

Decisions, decisions.

So with the big 3-0 coming up I was contemplating what kind of gift I was going to give myself for this milestone. I thought about buying myself a piece of jewerly to mark the event. But the more I thought about it the more I disliked the idea. I am never going to have any children so it makes no sense to buy something that would later on be inherited. Unless I thought about hawking it at a later date at a pawnshop. (A small insurance policy mind you). I am at a point in my life where I have come to terms with being single (no offense Mr. K). I have no daydreams about marriage, family etc. So why fool myself into thinking that I may have something to pass on to someone. I have come to the decision that I will make a donation to a charitable cause and buy myself some new shoes. I'll be helping others and adding to my colletion/fetish. It's a win/win situation.

Need a New Title!

In little less than a month I will hit the big 3-0! So I need to rename my blog. I am reaching out to my readers to suggest some new titles. If I get any suggestions I'll let everyone vote on them. So rack your brains and lets come up with a super cool title!

Days till my 3-0:

Fantasy Bitches

I am totally obsessed with my Fantasy Football team. I read my stats everyday and switch guys around until I get the best starting line-up that I can get. So far I have been doing pretty good. I lost my first few games but now I have won three in a row. I am in 7th (out of 12th) place. Sweet! I am the only woman in the league so I felt that I had to give the guys a run for their money. No only if my fantasy bitch Todd Heap would get more points I could sleep better at night.

Big Shout-out to my fellow Ravens Fans!

HEAP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Enough of this shit already.

Yesterday I almost came to blows with someone. It took all of my self control to walk away from this sack of shit. If it werent for the fact that there were minors involved I might have been sitting in a jail cell right now. It takes a lot for me to get to a point where I will blow up like I did last night. I have barely slept from all the throwing up that I did. I have the misfortune of being one of those people who when they get anxious it goes straight to my stomach (and back out of my mouth). I had to medicate myself to try and get some sleep and I only came in today because I am taking a half day tomorrow. I also have a very stressful weekend coming up and I am at a point right now that I am going to rip someone a new a-hole if they try to fuck with me. I really don't need this.

Some people shouldn't breed.

That is all.

Mini Rant

Whoever told PATCO that is was a good idea to have farecards that get demagnitized easily should be sent straight to Hell. Sorry to be so blunt but these cards suck. I love NYC Metro cards, they can take a beating. These PATCO cards fail about 50 percent of the time. Then you have to call on the red phone near the handicapped turnstile and tell the operator where you are and where you are going. God forbid that this happens to you in the morning on your way to work cause then you have to call on your way to work and on the way home. I had two 10 trip tickets that died on me the same week. Oh and another thing, why do you have to insert your card to be able to go thru the turnstile. What a retarded concept!
