Apparently the Catholic Church wants to boycott the movie version of the DaVinci Code. What? Did they run out of other stuff to worry about? :) Now I will def go see it. I read the book and liked it and I am still skeptical about the movie but the chick who plays Amelie is in it (Audrey Tatou) so I will go check it out.

Did I tell everyone how much I love my Ipod? She makes me so happy. Today I downloaded a few more songs and played around with my playlists. Today I am rocking Big E Smalls, Mary J Blige and Black Sheep. Takes me back to my Puma wearing days in Brooklyn. Ahh, the memories.

After a very crappy week I am back home. The highlights included:

* a death in the family
* my car dying at the funeral home
* $300 in car repairs
* a screaming match with an uncle
* wanting to kill certain family members

Let's just say I was ready to get out of Brooklyn.

I have been trying to relax and recoup. I did see a great movie called "Secretary" with Maggie Gyllenhall and James Spader on Sunday. A funny dark comedy with lots of S&M.

I give it four out of five spankings.

Wont be posting too much these next few days as I have had a death in the family. Happened over easter weekend and I spent the day yesterday in NYC to be with my family. I have to return Thurs and Fri and then I should be back to posting next week.

Only if Bono would show up to my local church!!!!!!

It's a bit too cool for sandals but I decided to wear some anyway. Today I am wearing my Kenneth Cole Reaction flip flops in a pewter sort of color. I love Kenneth Cole but only buy his Reaction line as it is much cheaper than his regular line. I got this pair at Loehmanns for a very reasonable $30. Here is a pic of them in black. I am eyeing a similar pair in hot pink.

I am having a rather crappy day today. Since shoes are about the only thing that make me happy check out these cool sandals. Guess what they are called? NOEMI shoes! Too cool!

My cousin came down and visited with me this weekend. She took some pics of my cats with her cell phone. She sent me one this morning. This is Leo sitting my porch. The cats were loving me this weekend. I let them out on the porch so that they could sleep in the sun. They were supervised of course :)
