Dodge Drama Part 3.
For the past few days I have noticed that the temp gauge on my car has been swinging like crazy. I was freaking out cause I wasn't sure what the hell was going on. AndI certainly did not want the car to overheat and strand me by the side of the highway. After a few frantic phone calls and text messages with Mr. K and my friend Michelle we decided that I needed coolant. With Mr K on the phone this morning I opened up my hood and saw that I was indeed at the "add" level. Whew, that was a relief. So later on today I am going to go buy some. Hopefully that will take care of the problem.

When you ad the coolant, change your radiator cap also (About $4 at Auto Zone). If it's more than 5 years old the spring is probably bad in the cap, acerbating your coolant loss.
Good rule-of-thumb is to change the cap every time you flush and change coolant, or like I do every year.

I didnt flush out the old coolant but I do have to get that done. I'll check and see before I leave work today if the cap has popped off again. When I first looked at the level the cap was indeed off. Thanks for the help!
