I have been meaning to post about Freecycle for a while and it's totally slipped my mind. For those of you who are unaware about Freecycle it's a way to give stuff away that you no longer have a need for to someone who could use it. It's an alternative to filling up our landfills. So if you have stuff lying around in good shape you post on a local website that you have an offer and if someone is interested then you have meet-up with that person and make the exchange. Recently I have traded an old shelf stereo, scrapbooking magazines and VHS tapes. And I have been on the receiving end too! I got a perfectly good sewing machine!
