Today I got a phone call from someone in private industry (name of company will not be mentioned) who wanted to know the approximate number of people who live near salt water bodies. Are you freaking kidding me? What am I, a box of Trivial Pursuit cards? I told him that my agency did not calculate such statistics. He really wanted an answer though, he told me that they had a bet going on in his office. Jesus H. Christ. I told him that I was not qualified to make a guess and bid adieu. Nice waste of both of our time buddy!

Who is this person who reads my blog on an everyday basis? Fess up! You've been busted!

Taking a minute to update my blog. Things have been busy at the job. Yesterday as I was scarfing down some lunch my supervisor came up to my desk and ask me and another co-worker to step into his office. Mind you I was in the middle of a chewing a mouthful of food as was my co-worker. I mutter under my breath "Can't he see I'm eating?" To this my co-worker answers in his best ghetto voice "Oh no he didn't". We both agree to stuff more food in our mouths and walk into his office wiping (our mouths). I don't mind going the extra mile for work but DO NOT MESS WITH MY LUNCH! I get a half hour-let me eat in peace. I threathened to make up a "Out to Lunch" sign and stick it on my desk as I eat. I am gonna have to get all New York on his ass ain't I?

My sweetie Mr. K went out and bought me flowers today. We met for a quick lunch because I was up to my neck at work so I had to eat and run. We met at our usual chinese spot on 13th st. We were teasing each other this morning because our horoscope (we're both Scorpios) said something about giving flowers and being romantic with our partner today. So he brought me flowers. Me, I am gonna let him carry my empty moving boxes to the dumpster tonite. Aren't I the sweetest!

I finally got moved into my new place. I have been unpacking for 2 straight days. Sad to say but I am actually glad to be out of there and at the office. Things picked up while I was away so I am trying to get back on track. But at least the weekend is around the corner!

Last night I put together my home theater system. I use the term loosely as my media equipment is pretty sad. Mr. K. came by for a short visit and assisted me in figuring out where some of the wires went. I got everything set up and sat down and watch Moonstruck. So I am gonna toot my own own here now that my home theater is all set up now!

In other news I apparently have a stalker at my old job. My stats say that someone from there has been reading my blog lately. If it is who I think it is all I have to say is "Fat Ugly Cunt" says hi.

Check out this caterpillar that Mr. K found when he cleaned off his deck. Who knows how long this creature was living in the leaf pile. It looks like something from National Geographic. We either killed off a beautiful butterfly or saved the world from a Mothra-like creature!

I am finally able to get some mental relaxation now that my weekend is coming to a close. I am a bridesmaid in a friend's wedding and I was helping out with the weekend's bachlorette events. To be honest I wasn't looking forward to any of it. I had a falling out with one of the other bridesmaids due to her betrayal of confidence. We were friends for a number of years so it was sad for me that I could no longer count her among my friends. It did not help that I heard her talking smack about me and another member of the bridal party (whom I have since become friends with) and heard from others that she was talking shit about me and the bridesmaid. She also tried to take credit for stuff that she did not plan and made it seem that she did a vast majority of the planning by herself. She also attempted to get some other friends to convince me to speak to her. Talk about a junior high tactic. There were times that I wanted to tell her to fuck off and it took all my my willpower to keep calm. Luckily once the wedding is over I will never have to see her again. Sad but I have to do what I need to do to live my life. If that means cutting someone out of it then so be it.

With all the horror stories that I have been hearing about the Hurricane down south I have beeen trying to decide how I can help. I have wanted to donate a little cash to a non-profit and the one that people seem to be pushing in the American Red Cross. I have some issues with how they operate so I have been looking for an alternate source. A fellow blogger Urbaine Muse has posted some information about a friend of hers from LA who needs some help for her and her children. I sent her a little something and I am hoping that others too will follow my need. If you want to send a donation lease do so via Paypal (the email address lisa@audiblevision.com). I hope that she doesnt mind. We all need to pull together and help one another.
